BIG BLUE BIG BAND

Clintondale

The Big Blue Big Band was formed in 1984 by IBM employees and their families as a part of the Kingston IBM Club.   Their goal was to foster appreciation of jazz music. The Band continued as a community organization after IBM left Kingston, and presently is sponsored by the Church of the Holy Cross Outreach Center in Kingston, NY.

The eighteen piece band with male and female vocalists, has a repertoire suitable for both concert and dance occasions.    It features Big Band Era classics, as well as more contemporary pieces, covering a range of styles including ballads, swing, latin, blues, and rock.

They perform at venues throughout the Hudson Valley, and their goal is to keep Big Band music live and well as they will work with you to make your event a success.
